Have you ever thought about your final minutes on Earth?
Will you have any regrets?
This article from The Guardian, really caught my attention:
"Top 5 Regrets of the Dying"
In it, Bronnie Ware, a nurse who has spent years caring after patients in the final
12 weeks of their lives, shared the 5 most common regrets she heard.
As I was reading the article, I thought of you, even though I haven't met you.
But you'll
soon see why I thought of you.
Here are the regrets listed in reverse order of frequency...
"Number 5:I wish I had let myself be happier.
Number 4: I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Number 3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
Number 2: I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
Number 1: I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."
Number 1 was the most common regret out of all of them... And it's the one that makes you most sad.
I've realized that not everyone has the honor to fulfill even half of their dreams.
Most die knowing they lived someone else's life.
That's depressing.
So what about you?
Will you continue to put off starting your dream business, traveling to Paris, and spending more time with your family?
You don't want to be lying on your deathbed feeling regret.
That's about one of the worst ways to leave this world.
Don't wait until it's too late to do
something about it.
