In his book Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcom Gladwell explores what are the factors that contribute to high levels of success.
The one factor that comes up time and time again is the "10,000 Hour Rule."
Gladwell attributes this factor to the success of people like Bill Gates and the Beatles.
He says that before they were even 21 years old, they had already put in more than 10,000 hours
into their interests.
Gladwell believes that intelligence isn't as important as we think it is.
Neither is talent.
But he says that high-level success requires 10.000 hours of your time.
Now, you're probably thinking that I am going to tell you that you need to put 10,000 hours into your business before you should ever expect to see results.
But I am not.
Fooled ya.
Lots
of people working under Bill Gates made lots of money without having to spend 10,000.
Why?
Because Bill Gates had already done it for them.
Another good is example is how lots of people followed Ray Kroc's simple, step-by-step process of selling McDonald's hamburgers and got rich doing it.
And they didn't spend 10,000 hours learning how.
Kroc had already done it for them.
Likewise, plenty of people have made lots of money with this simple system by just following the step by step process.
So, you could go right ahead and start your 10,000 hour journey.
Reinvent if you want.
OR you could ride a train's that's already on the money fast-track.
It's up to
you.
