In the 1960s there was a man named Earl Nightingale.
He published a record called “The Strangest Secret.”
Now Earl was considered as one of the personal development pioneers – one of the OGs if you will.
In his record, he goes on to explain why people choose the lives that they do and the “Strange Secret” they can learn to change them.
His secret is
this:
“You become what you think about MOST of the time.”
Think about that.
Really let it sink in.
What do you take from that?
You can also think of that statement like this:
“You GET what you think about MOST of the time.”
Sounds kind of like the Law of Attraction, right?
The universe, and everything in it, is just energy.
When we think about something, we send the energy for that thing out into the universe.
An example of
this is how you see and notice your make and model of car more than any other when you go out for a drive.
Or when you find yourself thinking of someone, they suddenly text or call you.
Everything is energy, but it is up to us to decide which energy we want to identify with.
I can’t stress it enough.
Our thoughts are so important.
But that’s not the only piece to the puzzle.
