If there are two things in this life that move us..
No, silly, it's not just money!
Although, that is a very, effective motivator, it is not the most effective.
It is either pain or pleasure.
Everything we do is to either avoid pain or obtain pleasure.
In your life, right now, you are experiencing both of these.
Depending on your situation, you could be experiencing more of one than the other.
I remember when my life was very painful.
Being broke, sick and unhappy were painful things to me.
However, my friends and everyone that I hung around made me feel good about being in those areas.
They made me embrace them.
This is a BIG problem when you are trying to succeed.
The people around you will give you pleasure and reinforcement that it is OK to stay where you are.
It is OK to be comfortable.
Then they wonder why they NEVER make any progress in their lives.
It is because they embrace comfort.
Little do they know, stepping outside of your comfort zone is the ONLY place you can grow.
This is where the pain hangs out.
Not literal pain, but being uncomfortable is a GOOD thing.
But what is funny is that after I changed my life, those same people:
My broke, sick and unhappy friends and family members were giving me pain.
But because I understood how to change my life, I surrounded myself with new
people who gave me pleasure, as well as positive reinforcement that being happy is GOOD.
Being healthy is GOOD.
And having loads of money is GOOD!
Take home is that there are both pleasure and pain when you change your life.
Thing is, there is more of one than the other.
Just how I changed my life, you can too!
And these are the steps I took!
