There’s a book by Malcolm Gladwell called Outliers: The Story of Success.
Maybe you’ve read it.
To summarize, Gladwell examines the traits of those who achieve extraordinary levels of success.
There is one rule that sticks out to me every time I read it.
The 10,000 hour rule.
The Beatles and Bill Gates can attribute their wild success to this rule.
They put in tons of time to master and perfect their
craft.
Don’t panic.
I'm NOT telling you to spend 10,000 hours working to master something.
Instead, you should model the people who have.
That is
why many people made boatloads of money working under Bill Gates.
Take Ray Kroc as another example.
These individuals did the heavy lifting to get things going so that those who came after don’t have to.
It’s not necessary to put in
your own 10,000 hours.
Don’t reinvent the wheel.
If you want to waste your time and stress yourself out then be my guest, I guess.
The other option: play it smart and board the train that’s already on the fast track
moneyville.
The decision is yours.
